The Explorers Room supports growing independence, social skills, and emotional confidence. This thoughtfully designed space allows toddlers to explore safely while learning alongside others.

Children transition into this room based on readiness and development. The room connects with the Wayfinders classroom, creating opportunities for tuakana teina learning and meaningful peer relationships.

Kaiako gently guide self help skills such as handwashing, feeding, and toileting, while encouraging children to make choices, solve problems, and express themselves confidently. Activities reflect children’s interests and promote resilience, communication, and discovery.
